Please George Lucas, Please!

Make a Star Wars game for the Wii with controls like this:

Can you imagine? I just about wet myself about the time the TIE Fighter blew up. This video, BTW, is a great example of why I think the Wii is the game console to own. There’s just no way that smashing a bunch of buttons on another controller would give you the same sort of thrill and satisfaction (PS3 fanboys commence flipping out in 3. . . 2. . . 1. . .).

There's literally no indication that the Wii controller is that responsive, especially given that the guy in question is moving the nunchuk like it has the same motion hardware as the remote; it doesn't.

I don't know, man. Quite a few of the motions in that SW video are used in Zelda and Wii Boxing. Maybe you're confusing the motion control with the IR pointer? The remote has motion and pointer, the nunchuck only has motion.

Yeah i was reading the article in the new GI about this game. The 2 physics engines used were created solely with this game in mind. The story line is genius and it just looks .......*shudder*

can't fucking wait love

Wii GPU couldn't handle Force Unleashed.

So how exactly is the PS2 version going to work then?

Much less the PSP version. Though as I understand it, there's the main version (360, PS3) and then games with similar stories but gameplay "tailored to each system" for the others. Which I suspect means that the wimpier versions will suck. And that's assuming the main version(s) are any good, which I refuse to do on the basis of a few scanty previews that show little but good intentions.

So I'm guessing it's stick figures on the GBA?
