Please George Lucas, Please!

Make a Star Wars game for the Wii with controls like this:

Can you imagine? I just about wet myself about the time the TIE Fighter blew up. This video, BTW, is a great example of why I think the Wii is the game console to own. There’s just no way that smashing a bunch of buttons on another controller would give you the same sort of thrill and satisfaction (PS3 fanboys commence flipping out in 3. . . 2. . . 1. . .).

Wii GPU couldn't handle Force Unleashed.

So how exactly is the PS2 version going to work then?

As much as I don't care for Star Wars, that game on the Wii would be amazing. I'd play it.

Hmm....sounds interesting, but does the hardcore Star Wars fan have enough physical stamina to make it past Level 1 without having a heart attack?

Seriously, that would be cool. The only game I've played on Wii was the new Zelda and I enjoyed the levels I played. This would be fun. Can the Wii display graphics like that though?

I just read about that game last week. It looks even more promising from the video.

I guess articles with about 50 words worth of commentary are becoming all the rage. Here's yet another one that should've just been somebody's blog.

Yeah, but see, the thing is...

See all the supportive comments in here? That shows that there's support among several people, far more than your average blog would receive.

That's why that nice little "Commentary" tab is up there...so some can write about a particular topic on something that's not necessarily a "news" story, presumably w/o running the risk of people like you and the rest of the "How is this news?" people bitching up a storm.

OK?

OK. smile

I'm not even saying it's not news, I'm saying there's not even really any kind of information about the actual game or anything at all, really. Even though it is readily available. I expect staff editors to actually do a little work if they're putting out an article. Otherwise, what are they on staff for, if they're putting out just whatever pops into their head without any kind of real effort?

When I look at news articles, I expect news.

Not some tubby fanboy's wiisturbation.

There's not a single bit of news. Just a crappy video of a PS3 game mashed up with some dork using the nunchuk in ways that it technically doesn't work.

What's up? whatever
