Make a Star Wars game for the Wii with controls like this:

Can you imagine? I just about wet myself about the time the TIE Fighter blew up. This video, BTW, is a great example of why I think the Wii is the game console to own. There’s just no way that smashing a bunch of buttons on another controller would give you the same sort of thrill and satisfaction (PS3 fanboys commence flipping out in 3. . . 2. . . 1. . .).

It's the upcoming Force Unleashed, what little I know about it is that this game is supposedly a fully official new episode in the saga just like the movies.

The storyline's pretty simple, it plays out between revenge of the sith and a new hope, you play Vader's secret apprentice that is tasked with hunting down all the jedi that escaped the initial massacre in revenge of the sith.

Um. I have a PS3 and I am a fanboy but I have to agree, the Wii is THE system to own. If you only pick one, it should be a Wii. Lucky me, my girl got a Wii so I got a PS3. But I think if she saw this video she'd have a heartattack. I'm a starwars fan but she is THE starwars fan...
That said: If they don't make a Wii version of this (someone said it was a PS3 game, right?) it'll be a shame.

Force Unleashed is going to be SO fucking amazing.

the story alone is worth it.

I cannot wait to play it for the 360.

if it were to come out for the Wii...man...incredible.

There's literally no indication that the Wii controller is that responsive, especially given that the guy in question is moving the nunchuk like it has the same motion hardware as the remote; it doesn't.

Wii GPU couldn't handle Force Unleashed.... Still, what they should do is make something similiar, closer to the graphics of Zelda and really work on connecting the Wii-mote to the game play.

What I have is a nagging fear that Lucasarts will continue in their merry tradition of not doing the obvious "Give them what they want" and instead give us more crap like poorly the conceived but visually stunning (though hollow) Episodes 1-3...or Knights of the Old Republic 2...or refusing to release a decent edition of the untampered with, Greedo dies so very quickly from under the table original trilogy... /rant

We all want a WIi Jedi game. We all bought Wii's with this little desire in the back of our mind. Will it happen?

I am not holding my breath. It would make too much sense.
