It looks like a good week to save money, since these are the only games shipping today:

For the PS2 is the motorcycle sim, Moto GP 4 OLC. It's a little dated since it's been out for more than a year in Europe and Japan, but in America we get 8 player online. So suck it, Europe.

The only new release for the DS is Break 'Em All, a slightly modernized version of Brickout. It's only $20, but the best chance it has of being fun is if it reminds you of Arkanoid enough that you stop and go play Arkanoid.

The PSP gets two games: Tomb Raider: Legend is as close to an exact copy of the PS2 version as they could make, including the multiplayer. It looks pretty good on the PSP's sexy ass screen, and there are some bonus features in the PSP version like unlockable outfits and timed mission challenges.

The other PSP release is Legend of Heroes 2: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch. Legend of Heroes 2... you know, I hadn't given it a lot of thought until now, but I think I might still be bored from the first Legend of Heroes. For more information, here's a fruity preview from IGN which somehow got me to hate the game more.

And while you're in the PSP section, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't pick up Eight Below starring Paul Walker. Inspired by a true story, Eight Below is an exciting action-adventure about loyalty and the bonds of friendship set in the extreme wilderness of Antarctica. My sources tell me that Dom DeLuise plays the talking skateboard.
