During this week of May 30th to June 2nd, here are the games making it stores:

PS2
Besides the self-descriptive Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords & More, PS2 owners' only new choice is Stacked with Daniel Negreanu. If you're like me, and aren't quite sure what a Daniel Negreanu is, this isn't the poker game for you. It's a star-studded professional poker player career simulator. If that interests you, hi dork, this is a well-produced game worth checking out. But personally, I think if you and your Playstaton 2 are looking for a fantasy life to simulate together, you should try for something with 360 dunks or space lazers.

GBA
Coming this week for the Gameboy is Backyard Baseball 2007, an update to the huge-headed game so mildly popular with the kids. Also shipping are Scurge: Hive and Juka the Monophonic Menace. They're both adventure titles that can be described as Zelda-like as long as you're absolutely not using that as a compliment.

DS
The DS is getting its own version of Scurge: Hive and what may be the year's top game about controlling a fruit-gathering insect swarm, Miss Spider Harvest Time Hop. And even though the improved DS Lite system isn't coming out for a couple weeks, stores will be getting you pumped with exciting add-ons. Who needs the system itself when you can buy the DS Lite Stylus 2 Pack or tease your cigarette lighter by plugging in the DS Lite Car Adaptor!

PSP
The only game the PSP gets is the exciting Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords & More, but for people who use the system to play music, videos, or {I]pirated games, the PSP Memory Pro Duo 4.0 GB will be on shelves. For $240 retail, you can buy a postage stamp that can hold your illegally downloaded copy of Lumines 160 times. The future is now.
