Guitar Hero II Countdown Begins

Guitar Hero is the game that single-handedly kicked the dancey dance gay out of the rhythm action genre, and it's getting its sequel this November. So far, publisher Red Octane is keeping the song list top secret, but they have said that there will be over 55 of them. Fifty fiiII-IVE!

One of the options announced in the sequel is the ability to play rhythm, bass, or lead guitar. Another is the addition of a co-op mode where two players can rock as a team. Plus, using the promise of cocaine, the designers have gotten the rights to Whitesnake's old groupies. Who are also fully compatible with co-op mode. An early version of the game is appearing at E3 next month.

i love turning people onto this game. especially when they first strap on the guitar and look over at you with that 'youre kidding me, right?' face. im like yeah whatever. prepare to rock.

who here would pay twice as much for a much better controller?
