China Whips Up Liquid Spray-in Condoms

Getting intimate with a girl and then having her whip out a can of aerosol with a Pinocchio nose attached and stuff it up her mimsy isn't the most attractive thought.

"China's first liquid condom went on sale today after the country's health and drugs administration formally gave the hi-tech prophylactic the thumbs-up, the China Daily reports.

Dubbed the Nanometer-silver Cryptomorphic Condom (NCC), it's designed for female rather than male usage. The condom-in-a-can is essentially an antiseptic foam spray that the manufacturer claims forms a physical membrane inside the vagina, protecting it from infection, acting as a barrier to pregnancy and providing a lubricating effect.

It's not known who makes the NCC, but Beijing-based Chinese-Canadian condom maker Blue Cross Biomedical has been touting something along these lines for a while now. It maintains its spray-in condom "can effectively kill gynaecological disease pathogens such as staphylococcus aureus, Candida, coliform bacillus, and can prevent sexually transmitted diseases."

Methinks I shall be sticking with the 'ol rubber until I've seen some studies and whatnot on this stuff to prove just how effective it is. Plus it was mostly going on about it being anti bacterial, not viral, so god knows if it stops HIV.

Um, this reminds me of the product I heard they were testing here in the states- a dissolving suppository-thingie inserted in the vagina that killed a lot of potential STD's and was being specifically looked at as a way for prostitutes who can't, aren't allowed to, or won't use protection to protect themselves and their johns from the spread of disease.

I thought that was a cool ass idea. I wonder what happened to it.
This, on the other hand, is a little odd. Carrying around little dissolving sheets of vag-shield I can see, but a spray can? Hell, at least it's cute.

I was going to make an assholish remark about the spelling of chlamydia

Candida is Yeast. Which is why it's reffered to as a "gynaecological disease pathogen".

clymidia isnt the most attractive thing either

MM!

edited for lack of spelling skillz!

I know what candida is. It is not referred to as a gynaecological disease pathogen because it is yeast. I can also read an entire thread before commenting, can you?

Oh, well if it's good enough for the Chinese health and drug administration... Um....no. I'd really rather not put my health and the fate of my sperm in the hands of an anonymous manufacturer whose product was given "the thumbs up" by a frequently corrupt government in a country not exactly famous for its stellar health record.

On the other hand, they do have an interest in effective birth control, eh?

On the other other hand, they also have an interest in curbing population growth by close to any and all means. skull

Any condom that is described as being Cryptomorphic is cool in my book.

I don't know I found this sketchy, would it prevent AIDS or Herpes 100% or at least 99% or any other STDs ?
with all the thrusting, it might wore off .. at least with a condom, you have a physical barrier ...

Actually...I could totally go for a MALE version of this. I think it would be a fun foreplay game. “Paint the condom on the winkie!” You could make different colors and do “Dick graffiti” :-)

If you can say Mimsy...I can say winkie...

I can't say "frumious Bandersnatch"...not three times fast at least.

You mean liquid latex isn't a safe form of birth control?
