Dogs Die Out of Hot Cars

A bridge is Scotland is apparently turning dogs into lemming-like creatures that throw themselves into the waters below.

The bridge, which spans a 13m drop into a stream running underneath, is fast becoming known as Rover's Leap because of the lemming-like approach it seems to inspire in apparently well-adjusted family pets.

"Dogs do not commit suicide. They have a strong fight-or-flight response," Doreen Graham, of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, told The Glasgow Herald.

"The incidents at the bridge are of very great concern to us because we would like to understand why they are happening."

I wonder if the dogs know the whole lemming thing was an evil Disney plot?

I was just about to correct you on your false portrayal of lemmings, but you beat me to it.

I read somewhere that there is a species of lichen which only grows on lemming bones. Too strange...

(Googled, couldn't find a link; the original source was a book.)

Poor dogs! Either that or maybe they're aware of something way better out there, so yeah dogs! But probably not, so, poor dogs!

TRUE: Walt Disney sacked those persons he found out to be Jewish, and would never allow women to advance higher up the creative ladder than simply colouring in the cartoons the men designed and drew.

Does anyone remember the WWII propoganda cartoons that may have involved Daffy Duck shooting down Nazi bombers? I watched that as a kid without a clue what was going on. Also, instead of Big Bird, I had Jake and Elwood Blues teaching me how to cus.

I had bad parents.

reminds me of Milo and Otis.
You know a dozen cats and a pug died during the making of that damn trite?

I bet you the pug died in the scene when he was made to fight a bear in the running river, or the scene of it running across the snow to raise family.
