I loved "No Such Thing", but that's all I know of Hal's ouvre...any other recomendations?

On a vaugely related note, Atom Egoyan needs to dig out of his hole and make another movie with Sarah Polley.

also, f the current season of Smallvile.

My editorial shares office space with Possible Films. The DVDs came in 2 weeks ago and they've been working on how to setup the mailings ever since. Also, if you wanted to know Hal is presently in Germany working as a writing fellow for some college. He loves it over there and is thinking of moving. At the least, it might become the base of operations for what will essentially become Henry Fool 2. If you want any other inside dirt on Possible Films, just ask.

Hal Hartley is the greates although not in top form on No Such Thing in my opinion.
If you liked Robert Burke as the monster, though I highly recommend Simple Men, if for no other reason than the Sonic Youth scene and Martin Donovan saying, "Hot. Fucking. Tuna."

All the Hartley films are worth a watch, I think.

Yup, that basically covers it. Flirt is kinda sketchy, but still worth watching (especially the later kabuki scenes). No Such Thing, I'm still not too sure about.
