Oregon Klingons Support Kerry

According to the Willamette Week Online, 75% of Klingons support Democratic candidate John Kerry in the upcoming election*

The Klingons praised Kerry's abilities as a warrior:

"Kerry has shown his prowess," [said] 33-year-old Neqha (Earth name: Eric King) of Tigard. "He saved his fellow warrior under the gun, and has been commended and awarded medals."


Hopefully the Vulcans and a bunch of disposable security officers will add their support to the Trekkies for Kerry campaign, as well. He'll need it; after all, we all know where the Romulan, Cardassian, Borg, and Ferengi votes are going.

* The other 25% of Klingons are voting for Satan, which leaves 0% for Bush. They have, apparently, turned their backs to him completely, leaving his family in dishonor.

Captain Obvious here, but this is an adult site that happens to have a very casual news function. Anyone can submit anything. And I find this piece to be quite funny/informative.

Politics need not be a heated pissing contest at every turn. Jokey stuff like this makes politics more accesible to others. And if that means one more person living in their mom's basemet will get out on election day and go and vote like his Klingon brothers/sisters then I am all for that!

well,this election is sure to be manipulated......

just make sure the pollbooths are full of tribles to keep the klingons away, and require all humans to wear red shirts when the go to vote, so they'll die before they get there. change the term of the president to 7 years so the vulcans will be in no condition to even show up and then the romulans, cardassians, borg and ferengi will be the only voters!

they'd do it just to fuck with the Vulcans. either that or they'd be mysteriously absent from the matter, except for rumours about Bush's eyebrows looking strangely arched from just the right angle...

I'm not much of a trekkie myself, but the Klingons have given me massive amounts of free alcohol and chips and salsa, so I tend to think rather favorably of them.
