Kill Bill, Volume 2 Postponed Until April

Kill Bill Volume 2 has been moved to a later release date of April 16th. Variety reports that Miramax has declined to comment on why the delay has occurred but news of the change has circulated among distributors. The films original release date was to be February 20th. It is also possible that the delay may be due to negotiations to present the film at the Cannes Film Fesitival.

“No clear reason has surfaced for moving the Bill sequel, but a later slotting will allow time to circulate Kill Bill, Vol. 1 in homevideo. Bill 1 is expected to hit homevideo shelves April 13," reports Variety film writer Carl Diorio.

Kill Bill Volume 2 stars Uma Thurman and is directed by Quentin Tarantino, his 6th film.
