Baby Seal Clubbing: Bigger than Disney World?

Svein Ludvigsen, a government official in Denmark, believes that the practice of clubbing seals should be sold to foreigners as a tourist attraction. He believes a tour of the Norway coastline and it's unique experiences should be able to be enjoyed by all. The justification for his reasoning is based upon the idea that there is no difference between the clubbing of seals and standard hunting or fishing.

Considering they're vegans, I doubt the PETA squad can do all that much with blunt instruments.

Hell, I'd almost book one of these vacations just to get the chance to bash away on a PETA fuck.

I am a mild person by nature but I can cut the heads off those fuckers who kill baby seals and lose no sleep over it.

I hate to find out how much a non resident hunting licenses will cost for "clubing a baby seal". For those who will cry out unfair, Denmark has a hunting season for seals and some of these hunters club the baby seals. Only half of the Seal Quota is being used so why not let some foriegners have a wack at it?

well i agree with their reasoning: there is little difference between the clubbing of seals and standard hunting or fishing. both are cruel, needless, and despicable.

i have no problem eating meat, and also have no problems being at the same moral level as the butcher. so it would stand to reason that i have no problem with hunting, fishing, or say clubbing baby seals. if you have a problem with clubbing baby seals for fur or food (or the killing of any "cute" animal) and you eat any type of meat then you are in fact a hypocrite and just don't see it.

Why would someone even think to do that?

Hunting started as a source of food. So there is a difference. You hunted to survive. Yes, now some people do it for gaming but how common is it for someone to go out and catch a baby seal for dinner? That's sick.
