Back to the topic at hand. You're undercutting any point you could've made, when you reference a beheading. A recent beheading. You can't be stupid enough to think things work that way. Convince people, win them over, make a valid point. Don't anger them with images of one of their own, getting killed, then try to talk about that thing you were mentioning earlier.

People aren't in the dark about where meat comes from. Some of them just have a different position on it than you do.

I'm an idiot (though much, much smarter than any animal ever?) and even I can see that.

Think about how asinine that is. Picture yourself at a dinner party where the topic of a recent horrible murder has come up. Then picture the person at the end of the table piping up with, "Well, it's no different than what happens to animals every day."

Can you see how innapropriate that would be? How, at the very least, annoying and obnoxious it would be? Even without the use of graphic visual aids...
