Whaddya Mean You Won't Fuck Me?!? I'll Sue!

Some men just ooze class.

77-year-old Rolf Eden has filed suit against a 19-year-old Berlin woman for the following reason: Despite a night on the town with Eden, which ended back at his place, she refused to have sex with him, saying the he was too old for her.

Way to charm the ladies, Smoove B. No woman can possibly resist being sued for refusing to have sex with a man after his

serving (her) champagne and playing the piano for her.

It is not possible! No woman can resist the champagne! And the playing of the piano! Clearly this is one frigid, uptight, bitch.

Not to mention, the man's name is Rolf Eden. Have you ever heard a sexier name? Rolf. It just rolls off the tongue like . . . well, like . . . well, like a slang term for vomiting, actually. (My husband is German, I'm allowed to make this joke.) And Eden! I can just hear it now. "Baby, let me take you back to the days of Original Sin . . . let me show you my trouser snake . . . touch my forbidden fruit!" HAWT.

Lest you think I'm making these lines up, well, I am. Then again, the guy apparently actually said

"I would like to die as I have lived -- on a woman."

Which is actually ickier than the trouser snake line. Quite an achievement, that.

But some anonymous young woman was not only unmoved by his obvious charms, she had to go and be all *mean* about it!

"I was crushed."

The women, they are so, so cruel. There is only one possible place to alleviate such harsh, unfeeling treatment--a court of law.

He has filed charges with the prosecutors' office, he said. "After all, there are laws against discrimination."

Then again, Eden admits

"there are some women who are too old for me. But in that case you have to be more diplomatic and say, 'Sorry, you're not my type.'"

These young people today. No manners. No manners whatsoever.

Bitch_PhD realizes that this guy is just after free publicity, but finds herself unable to resist him.

Because your HUSBAND is German you have a right to make fun of Germans? So by that logic, since your husband is married to a woman, he can talk all the shit about women he wants? WTF??? Why even say anything about it? Why make an excuse if you are going to say something shitty then just own it and be proud you said it and don't apologize or otherwise don't say it at all. Do you have friends who are black too?

And that guy is just lame!!

I'm not anything and therefore I can make jokes about everybody. Why does one have to be a member of a class or related to that class to make fun? We have freedom of speech here and quite frankly, there is no right to not be offended. If I think a racist or bigoted or misogynistic joke is funny, I'm saying it. Why? Because I think it's funny. Let's all get off our high horses and enjoy comedy and not treat it as a double standard. Why is rape ok in movies but make a joke about it showing how terrible it is and that's a crime against women? Get over yourselves and learn to laugh!

I'm tempted to agree with this guy. I mean, let's assume that this was indeed a legitimate date. The girl knew his age (presumably) and yet agreed to go out with him. I don't know about everyone else out there, but when I ask a girl out, it's with the intention of beginning the process of developing a relationship that ends more or less in a divorce settlement with the wife getting the house and kids, my whole bank account, and 7/8 of my salary before taxes. Oh, sorry, where was I....

Oh yes. So if this was a date then there was an understanding that this is a possible outcome of the date. So the fact that she refused based on his age, she violated the implied contract of the idea of a date. Then again, maybe I'm just jaded by virtue of the fact that I've been on the receiving end of a girl going out with me already knowing nothing would happen just to get a free dinner. And I've heard a small number of girls out there when they don't have money for food or something will go out with a guy just for a free meal.

So maybe we shouldn't be so quick to judge him. Maybe he's standing up for all those slighted guys out there who've been taken advantage of by girls who are using them with no inclination to allow a relationship to develop. That is a breach of contract in my opinion and the girl should be sued at least for the costs involved in the date.

Then again, maybe this guy is just an ass.

I must not have made myself clear, I couldn't care less who she makes fun of or why. I'm not offended, I don't care. I was only pointing out that there is no reason to try to justify the joke by pointing out her husbands race. Using the race of a friend or family member like that is lame and pointless and a real pet peeve of mine.

Please make fun of my race all you want. I really don't care, I'll even laugh if it's funny. smile wink

Oh. In that case, I'm just an idiot. I missed the entire point. I guess too much partying tonight at the Halloween party.

So you'll laugh, eh? How about a horror story instead. About a place where you can't fly a flag, paint your house a normal and bright colour, or park your luxury pickup truck on your driveway after 5pm when the help goes home. This place is America (queue scary music). This is just an extension of tyranny of the masses. An admittedly juvenile radio show that I listen to is not allowed to use certain word or phrases because words hurt. Why can't Al Sharpton learn the "sticks and stones" saying instead of race baiting and being a bigot. Humor is supposed to titillate without needing to justify it. If it's not funny, people stop seeing the comic. The free market censors. There's no need to justify something. If it's funny, people laugh. If not, that's what a salad bar is for.

Well then I guess all the women who slept with a guy thinking they were going to get a relationship (car house vacuum, kids picket fence) and a long term commitment and all he wanted was sex can start suing too?? They will have to start building new court houses.

On the other hand, I guess it might make people more honest........

And THAT is saying something!

Also, I was wondering... is German considered a race? Does that mean my race is Canadian?
