I guess everybody gets their rush from a different source. I like to drag race and ride roller coasters, they don't scare me, but they do give me a rush. I guess I do a lot of stuff that would scare the shit out of some people. I helped with the local 4th of July fireworks this year. I handled 1/2 ton of explosives and was literally right under them when they were going off. I love heights. I'd love to get a job changing light bulbs on cell towers. So I guess It really is to each his/her own.

I understand that it was hyperbole. But frankly I think that knee-jerk hyperbolic dismissal of criticism for anything SG ("sinking ship!", etc.) oftentimes comes across as more childish than the sentiment it's mocking. Apologies for jumping on on your post, it's just a pet peeve of mine.

There is legitimate discussion to be had about SG's involvement here beyond the automatic assumption that anyone critical is trying to censor or prevent others from seeing/attending the event.

Let's face it: If it was Joe Francis and a group of volunteer Girls Gone Wild reps who were the guests at this party for torture porn, there would be a perfunctory condemnation of the entire operation as exploitative.
