Secret Photoshop Agent and resident Fashion Icon Zoetica often has the staff at SGHQ asking, "What's Zo Wearing?" Her unique and eccentric style is a rallying call to those who suffer from mainstream malaise. Each week, she tells us how she's combined ordinary items to create her extraordinary look. Undaunted by unusual combinations, "What's Zo Wearing" is SG's answer to middle-of-the-road makeover shows.

As you might recall, the reception for Seven Brides Electrified was last Saturday. Drew took photos of all the stylish patrons, and I'll share some of my favorites along with a summary with you here.
In short, the opening night was a success -- over one hundred people flooded the gallery, throughout the night!
[Drew says maybe two but I'm not sure how accurate that is]
The work itself and the gallery looked great -- all the pieces and styles were displayed in balance with each other, starting at the door, winding upwards and around in a sort of milky way. French salon ambiance was the sound of the evening, via Noel Akchote's music and 14 candles lit up the restroom.
There were so many stylish people there! Love when people make an effort, I do. Polkadots, black clothing and funny-colored hair were popular that night, as you can see in the pictures above!
I wore what could be my favorite Mother of London piece -- a pale pink, belted harness half-top over plain black with very tall boots, gloves, and a burgundy leather sling I got in Italy. My hair in all it's deep blueness was covered in glitter and somewhat resembled a star-speckled sky. {It's blue because I had to re-dye in a hurry and was out of proper purple to mix up the previous shade.}
If you are now zealously kicking yourself in the arse because you couldn't make it to the reception, never fear!
The show is up for a whole month, and if you ask extra nicely, I might organize a guided tour of the exhibit if several of you are interested in checking it out. Or see it by yourself and let me know what you thought!
The gallery website is now updated with photos of all the work up in the show - check it out HERE.

Zoetica Ebb is a painter, SG style technician, make up artist, alt. model, photgrapher & occasional cosmonomad. Born in Moscow, Russia, she was raised by a troup of gypsy scientists from space, who coldly sold her to an American technological research facility in 1992. After a daring escape, she graduated from the LA County High School for the Arts, retreated into the rumored underground atelier where she studied with the much-revered fashion guru Madame Von Kuntzertag, followed by a brief stint at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She's traveled the world, gathering fashion expertise and is thrice certified as official Finesse Monitor to the Khan throne. She loves Yungfuktoi and someday hopes to own a few pieces.
