Seriously though, a competent lawyer could get the DUI and cruelty charges tossed, but that's small fish compared to the other charges. They're going to hurt.

The cops can charge you with literally anything. Then they have to prove it in court, plus if the charges are too obviously bogus they open themselves up to countersuits and possibly judicial reprimands.

Reading this I prefer to picture the horse as the one on crystal meth. Its just funnier in my head thataway.

I think that riding a horse while drunk shouldn't really be considered a crime. Unlike a car, horses won't do really stupid things when you tell them to.
