Every two years there is a national fund-raising event in the UK called Comic Relief. It is often casually referred to as Red Nose Day (due to everyone donning a fake red nose). It all started in 1988 when a group of British comedians got together in order to educate the masses and raise funds for all kinds of charitable causes. The day consists of an evening of TV entertainment with 30 million people tuning in and thousands of people holding their own sponsored events up and down the country.

Every two years after that saw another Red Nose Day hit UK TV screens, each with their own version of the famous red nose.

This year is The Big One and a group of UK SuicideGirls decided that it was their turn to get together and raise some money. With the initial idea organised by Neyrissa a date was set for a meeting in Edinburgh to take some sexy photos with the aim of selling prints. Unfortunately Neyrissa had to pull out of the photos at the last moment due to a serious back problem. While she is on the mend, she needed some rest and was with the girls in spirit.












The photos are a huge success and not only capture the essence and style of being a SuicideGirl but also the true meaning of comic relief.









After all that work the girls needed a bit of a break and a huge treat. A trip to the tea house Plaisir du Chocolat and piles of chocolate cake was on the cards. All in all the day was a whole lot of fun and many giggles could be heard all around The Counting House, where the shoot was held.
