Alert: Most Remaining SG Burlesque Dates Cancelled

Most of the remaining SuicideGirls Burlesque Dates have been cancelled. SG sincerely apologizes for the disappointment and inconvenience. Full refunds will be made at each of the venues, and SG is working to reschedule all of the cancelled shows for mid-January, beginning January 17.

The SG Burlesque Troupe has been invited to open for Guns n' Roses, and they simply couldn't turn Axl down (it must be the hair). This is a very exciting opportunity for the girls, who will be performing for enormous audiences. Please wish them well, check them out with Guns n' Roses, and look for rescheduled Burlesque dates in mid-January.

Glad i got the chance to see them put on an amazing show in Dallas. Congrats on landing the GnR gig, just remember not to look Axl directly in the eyes or show him your teeth. He takes that as a threat.

You know, I'm for and against this. For anyone who rips on any SG member for "not being around long enough" to be upset or say they're sell outs has no right to even say that. Look at the percentage of actual Suicide Girls who weren't even born before Guns 'N Roses' popularity, (formed in Mar. '05.)

I just think it's an odd mixture. I'm also a bit bummed out about it, but I've seen the show and get the chance to see it again before the end of the year. I however won't be getting those GnR tickets, Unless Jesue, God, and Moses form a hip hop group and will also be opening. tongue

Hey cool. I agree a little bit with some other folks about the choice of band.... or maybe, that it's Gn'R that chose you. But I'm still stoked for SG. How could you turn that down!? Very nice. Great PR/Marketing opportunity. smile

I think I might know what caused this to happen.

Anyways, even before they became has-beens, Guns'n'Roses sucked giant rat dicks as a band. Technically proficient, but completely uninteresting.

Good on the SG tour for taking on the opportunity. Who gives a toss whether it's GnR or U2 or PeeWee Herman's travelling porno house tour? They' re going to get to perform to probably their biggest crowd yet.
LIke it or lump it they're celebrities now. But SG still gives you unprecedented access to contact all of the Girls that make this site what it is. Rip on Axl all you want, but don't try and shred the SGs just for taking another opportunity to expand oin their success.

There will be more tours.
