I'm just glad it's over so that everyone can stop constantly talking about it. A few news stories is one thing, but being spammed in the mail system to watch it and tell all my friends is completely different.

+1 to the billionth power
I flipped back and forth with the Mets Game and I was more pleased with that than the show
*Commence backlash for my opinion*
One to the billionth power is still one.
*math geek leaves now*
I know it took more intelligence in thinking of that than was put into the making of that pile of televised fecal matter that was "CSI: NY". Why do they always make sequels to things I hate?
the_maxx I am in agreement with you. I joined this site because it was counterculture and you were blessed with the types of women that don't grace the mainstream and aren't considered traditionally beautiful but now it seems like the site is whoring itself out for recognition to the same mainstream they were trying to go around. Oh well SG ya got a year outta me and thats all your getting I won't renew after Nov.25th. I am sure I will enjoy the show tomorrow but after that ya get nada from me.
So I do appreciate the fact that these are just your opinions, but if you both hate it so much and are so hellbent on proving your dissatisfaction with what you interpret as "whoring itself out for recognition..." why do you feel the need to follow the crowd and whine about it to those of us who aren't trying too hard? Did the SGs become different people because they got more exposure and had a good time? Were they all of a sudden accepted as the "norm?" Hope life treats you well when you leave! I think the girls did an excellent job btw!
And for the record, even my slightly less openminded SO fell for Nixon last night, glad you all seemed to have fun and were as amazing as ever doing it!
finally watched the show (yay bittorrent, boo work) and honestly, just go back a page or two for what MrSatan said, then scroll up a bit and read what thefreak said. that's basically all the effort i'm going to put into the whole "blah counterculture blah lame acting blah" shit.
side note: the whole V formation slow motion walk thing was worth it for the shot of Zoli's boobs. that may be a puerile thing to say, but i may be a child in a man's body, so it may all work out in the end. maybe.

I thought that some of the girls were great in the show. Al and Nixon in particular.
The show itself? Steaming pile of crap.
Nothing to do with SG sellng out or counter-culture or anything, it was just horrible TV.
I thought the girls did great considering they were on a CSI:ny episode. I personally think that CSI has gotten worse script and storyline wise (aka. cheesy) with each year/city they add on. But overall the episode looked fun and I would of loved to get to wear huge green heels on any tv show. I actually thought some of the girls were better actors than the characters normally on the show. just my 2-cents

Um, Zuiker joined SG and approached Missy and asked if he could pretty please write an episode about SG because he loves it so much. If agreeing to be on the Nicest Man In Hollywood's TV show is "whoring yourself out" I guess I'm happy to be a whore. Anthony loves SG and the original script got to the core of it, I thought. I think it's awfully rude to be talking shit about the episode, saying it was written by someone who has no idea what SG is, right in front of the guy who wrote it, who wrote it because he loves us. Apparently you missed the interview. Maybe the writing wasn't the best in the world, but you'd be surprised at the shit you have to say for your mainstream audience so they don't get confused.
Why didn't they look for pictures of what her tattoo said online? Because she got her chest piece finished the night of the (punk) show. Wasn't it a great coincidence that they picked out a bunch of green shoes to test and then all the SGs were wearing green shoes? No, because he said there was green stuff in her head wounds.
There's a reason they repeat key facts.
Also, was my acting really that bad? I mean, my dad called me up and was like, "hey, I saw you on TV! I think you could really tell that you didn't have as much acting experience as the regulars on the cast."

No ti wasn't that bad. I had a hard time picking a fave. of the episode but picked you for being the bad ass and a prime murder suspect.

Hmmm, I don't care for US mainstream crime dramas. However, I thought your acting was as good as everyone elses on the show, and I did find the show entertaining, for what it is, which is a mainstream television show.
You did create an emotional response, and looked genuinely upset near the end of the episode, enough for me to feel sad as I suspect I was supposed to. I thought that it was poignant and respectful in a way, making its mainstream television attempt to show that Suicide Girls are feeling humans as well as super hot. It could have been written a variety of other ways that only showcased the sexuality, but it wasn't and I was happy about that.
I can't agree with anyone calling it a steaming pile of crap. What television shows have they written or starred in recently? It was done skillfully for what it was, and I don't understand how anyone could have a hard time with that. CSI does not pretend to be an Oscar Wilde play.
As for the idea of "whoring" out and the counter-culture thing being some how tarnished by the one show. Well, that is bloody ridiculous nonsense. I don't get it. I've been part of the community here for a year now, I'm happy that the girls got some time to show off on mainstream television. It is a good thing. There is no imaginary line in the sand that has been crossed that makes me no longer enjoy what this is (whatever it is)...
I'm watching it now. Did anyone else notice when the forensics guy held up the paper with the SG logo on it that he held it up inversed as he read out "S...G"?
Okay, I found another error. Why didn't the female detective fall instantly in love with Al?
