Okay, okay—so the intentional misspelling is a stretch, but you have to admit, Colin Farrell hasn't exactly been portrayed in the most flattering light, lately. He may not be a Feral Child, but he does have a funny smell. Sniff...sniff...say, what is that smell, anyway? Surprisingly, it isn't the smell of sex; This nose knows that scent anywhere, and so would Colin.

Nope, this is an altogether different aroma—this is the scientiforiffic olfactory experience of Smellovision! Yep, you smelled me right—those wacky Japanese are at it again, and apparently Farrell is the first actor whose work audiences will catch a whiff of. Screenings of his film The New World will be shown while fragrance-emitting machines (read: ginormous air fresheners) belch out scents created to match various cinematic moments, for example: the sweet smell of flowers will waft through the theater during love scenes, and a mix of peppermint and rosemary will fill the air whilst audience members dry their tear-jerked eyes.

Perhaps Farrell should just say "Smell ya later" to his sex-tape case against ex-girlfriend Nicole Narain, and partner with the Japanese aromatherapists to take his bedroom flick to the next stinkin' level.
