Valderrama's Momma

MTV announced today that Wilmer Valderamma's new show, "Yo Momma," is set to premiere on Monday, April 3. Valderamma, star of That 70s Show and sometime visitor to Lindsay Lohan's boob tube, apparently conceived of and executive produced the show, which he will be hosting.

"Yo Momma" will surely bring a touch of class to the current MTV afternoon block, which includes "Next," "My Own," "Room Raiders," and "Date My Mom."

"Yo Momma" is a no-holds barred competition that pits Southern California's funniest amateur trash-talkers against one another. In each episode of "Yo Momma," Wilmer searches different neighborhoods to find the most astute trash-talkers. The finalists from each opposing area then will utilize information from "targeted home invasions" conducted by Wilmer to make their one-on-one slams incredibly personal.

The top two contestants each day will compete for a cash prize and bragging rights of being the best clowner in their neighborhood, as well as the opportunity to move forward in the trash-talking tournament.



"Yo Momma" will air daily, Monday through Friday.

If they really wanted to make me laugh, they would have chosen the mom from That 70's Show to host it, and when the trash talkers sucked, she would frown and hit them in the head with a wooden spoon.

But, I don't see that happening.
