Jhonen Vasquez Interrogation Special

Jhonen Vasquez is known for his many talents -- author, artist, brain parasite -- the list goes on. He is the heaving space-beast behind such literary milestones as Squee, I Feel Sick and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac among others. He is the creator of animated series Invader Zim and has recently expanded his already vast hat collection with his directorial debut in a video for "Shut me Up" by Mindless Self Indulgence.

Now he is ready to unleash a new creation! A collaborative effort with artist J. Goldberg, this beautiful and peculiar book is described as "the work of two artists who battle with interpretation and pull down the curtain between audience and creators, revealing artistic collaboration in all its alarming nudity" in the official press release. Yes, friends, say hello to Jellyfist.

Surely you, dear readers, must have questions -- nudity was mentioned! This is your chance to ask them. That's right. I will undertake the life-threatening task of inteviewing El Squez in the coming weeks and will select some of your questions to include in said interview. Send questions to zoetica@suicidegirls.com for consideration.

*Please try to stick to questions about Jhonen's newer work*

Yes! Damn that man! With his creativity and talent in both art and the marketplace! Damn him! Damn him! Damn him!

Regardless, I've always enjoyed his work, so this sounds pretty cool.

I have to know if he actually has a myspace. From what I've seen of his personality all signs would point to 'no', but I've seen some pretty convincing profiles. Plus, I assume Dirge's is real. But then again, I really don't know Roman quite as well.

Another thing I would want to know is how was working with Goldberg? Does she share his lovable personality trait of absolutely despising humanity? I don't know if he's worked with very many females in comics, or in any of the businesses he's been in, I assume this is his closest business interaction with the opposite sex, did that change anything?
