Iggy Pop is a Pansy

Sixty-year-old punk icon Iggy Pop is getting soft in his old age. The Stooges frontman has reportedly lent the use of his name to a garden for The Children's Society, to be displayed during the Chelsea Flower Show which opens on May 22 in Britain.

He says the garden, which will be called Lust For Life after one of his songs, was "full of optimism as young people should be … but too many people aren’t." The charity adds, "Punk and petunias don’t normally mix, but our garden inspired by Iggy Pop is bringing a bit of rock ‘n’ roll to Chelsea."

Quick, somebody get me a shovel...

If there was not sufficient soul, he would vomit it next to another soul as a side dish and eat your soul again! Iggy is JUST THAT VENGEFUL AND POWERFUL biggrin
So long as you don't ask him to act... eek. eeek

Aww, how sweet of Iggy. smile

That's the punk rock spirit.

Is it just me, or has there been a lot of Iggy Pop and Kurt Cobain news lately?

Iggy does as he has always done: Whatever the fuck he wants to do.

And he doesn't care if YOU like it. And that is YOU in the ubiquitous sense.

I seem to remember an interview in which the Ig said that he quite enjoyed gardening. No shit. He also used to play golf! Of course, this is Iggy Pop and not anyone else, so normal rules don't apply. After the way the Stooges kicked my ass the other night, he can do whatever the fuck he wants!

I just check out a new book written about him at Borders today. I looked at all the old school pictures anyways. The trailer park he lived in as a child is right down the street from where I live!! There should be some kinda monument there!
