When Worlds Collide: Hunter S. Thompson's Video Interview With Keith Richards

Hidden amongst the myriad self-involved, comedic spoofs that have come to dominate YouTube, this video featuring gonzo pioneer Hunter S. Thompson interviewing Rolling Stones' Keith Richards is one of the treasures a person might discover after a late night hunched over the computer, searching with bloodshot eyes for anything of interest.
The legendary lords of controversy — who describe themselves as "lonely old men" — sit in what I assume is a room in Thompson's house and muse about their chaotic lives. They converse about passing from this life to the next, where Richards' was on Christmas Eve 1962, the emotional impact of Altamont, and more. The video also features a clip of Richards performing a live version of the song "Eileen."
The only trick is to figure out who's harder to understand, Richards or Thompson? Regardless, just to watch the duo interact during this interview makes it fascinating.
Note: The quality of the video is poor at first but it cleans up quickly.
