Dita Takes the Highball...er, Road

Okay, okay—question: what's classier, dating someone half your age or personally delivering a $100,000 charitable check to help spread the word about HIV prevention? I'm not here to ruffle any feathers or fire up any fanatics, I'm just saying that Dita Von Teese—pasties, feathers and all—is a classy lady, and her latest class act involves delivering a check to the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation in Sydney, Australia. Dita is there as a spokesperson for the Mac AIDS Fund, which has raised the money through sales of it's VIVA Glam lipstick. There's more info available on
Dita's site, where she says:

"I might undress for a living but I love to dress up for sex! The ultimate tools of seduction might include silky seamed stockings, dangerously high stilettos, and perhaps a tightly-laced corset... but always a nice snug condom. Safe sex is sexy."

and shares this mind-blowing statistic: "One Viva Glam Lipstick will pay for 1000 condoms in India."

Dita cleans up before heading out to save the world:

She knows burlesque! Wow that was a hot video!! love

She seems to be (straight) women's idea of hot. I haven't found many men who feel the same way. To me she is completely unsexy. I only got through about five seconds of that video before getting bored.

Yeah, i feel the same way. Her look doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Count me in as the exception, then. I'm sure she's a lovely person, but burlesque-wise I just don't see the appeal.

I have to say this surprises me. I think she's pretty fucking hot and figured most guys would agree.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Even though her implants make me a little sad. blackeyed

**edit**
Now that I think about it, my boyfriend doesn't find her attractive either...

What the hell does dating someone half your age have to do with anything in this story? Was that really necessary?

Don't mess with the president of the M.M. fan club she tends to get upset. Oh yeah and she's not even of drinking age. If it wasn't Manson would you think it doesn't matter or would you call him/her(whomever) an old perv?

Why does anyone even care(I know he's your friend) if someone/anyone takes a shot at MM. I'm sure he's not crying in his goblet of blood(surrounded by cash) about it.

You're an asshat. Most good friends defend their friends in the face of ignorant, uninformed gossip. Just because her friend happens to be what you'd call "famous" doesn't mean she should all of a sudden stop defending him. I'm sure she knows WAY more about this situation than any of you ppl anyway.

But by all means, continue to pretend you know something.

Number one I am what you say I am. My point was I don't think he really gives a shit what anybody thinks or says about him. Surely not from the people posting here(or anywhere else). Why waste the energy. Oh and you're right I don't know anything he probably is sitting around crying you got me.

Unless Manson was presented with two doors, a 19 year old actress behind one and a 100k charitable donation behind the other, and chose the former, the question at the beginning of the article seems rather... pointless.

Still, good on her for donating 100k to charity, and for being so fucking sexy in a champagne glass.

It's nice and all, but she isn't giving away her own money, she's just a courier for a check. She hardly deserves massive accolades for it. It's Viva Glam's money that's being donated.

Its called raising awareness. See, somebody famous uses their status to get celebrity obsessed vapitards to give a shit about things they would ordinarily overlook.

Speaking of which don't you have an interview to mangle or something?

i dont mind people using their celebrity for that but their donations shouldnt be made so public

Ummm, yeah, you should definitely raise awareness by being discrete and circumspect because you know that works ever so well.

Have you suffered head trauma?

and dont you have a mother to fuck?

Well if yours could have broken a $20 we would have had room to negotiate.

one doesnt have to raise awareness by announcing your donations. dont U GET IT??? WHEN YOU ANNOUNCE YOUR CHARITABLE DONATIONS IT MEANS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF RATHER THAN CHARITY. understand yet?
