Rehab Center Sues Courtney Love

As if Courtney Love's life can afford to get more complicated, MSNBC is reporting that the Beau Monde rehab center is sueing Love over an unpaid $181,000 bill. Surprise, Courtney! The beachfront view, yoga, massages and gourmet meals weren't free.

The Newport Beach retreat filed their suit on March 1, claiming that after "multiple demands" Love still has not settled her debt. Though Courtney nor her checkbook were anywhere to be found, her lawyer Howard Weitzman assured the public that the issue would be "resolved to the satisfaction of all parties shortly.

For those keeping score at home, Miss World was sentenced to 180 days in a rehabilitation center in September 2005 after violating her parole with three misdemeanors; illegal possesion of painkillers, public intoxication and assault and battery. Love spent about 11 weeks of the sentence at Beau Monde, hence the large, unpaid bill.

In the meantime, Love is still at work on her new album. The follow-up to 2004's America's Sweetheart is still scheduled for a late 2007 release.

Nah, Sportbikepilot, in CA, the state takes care of any ocean-view accommodations that they sentence you to.

Just when you thought Coutrney couldn't get any more stupid. She could have gone to a less expensive "resort." Maybe she was too fucked up to bring that up to her attorney.

I hate to say this cause I had a huge crush on her in 1991 AND because she's a human being with feelings, but she really looks like a roast beef sandwich now. It's almost to Joan Rivers proportion...there should be an intervention.

And don't even get me started on her parenting.

For some reason I find that the most hilarious rock'n'roll notion. Spinal Tap explode yer heart out.

I mean, it's one thing to get sued by a hotel or a club or an individual that you punched while you were drunk.. but to be sued by the place you were court ordered to attend in order to curb your outrageous behavior? That strikes me as very funny.
