Jessica Simpson Defends Her Father's Creepiness

Jessica Simpson defended her father’s creepy, risqué comments about her tit-tays. Simpson said she wasn’t offended when her father gushed to GQ magazine about her ample cleavage.

"She's got double-D's! You can't cover those suckers up!"


While a statement like that makes me throw up in my mouth a little, Jessica said she’s cool with it; her boobs are a regular topic of conversation around her house.

When asked if the comments bothered her, she tells Jane magazine, "No, I've had double D's for a long time. Are you kidding? No. My family is extremely close. I talk to my mom about my sex life. That's not something that creeps me out.


When asked why she is comfortable with these discussions, Simpson explained her family’s “podunk” heritage

"We're Podunk Southern. And my dad is very open about his ideas and...it's disgusting that people would actually think...people are making a judgment on something that is false."

Unless he elaborated more than what he said above, all he said was that she has big boobs. I don't think that's a weird or creepy thing for a father to say, it's just stating the obvious. It's not like he said he found them sexually arousing or anything.

I don't find it that creepy. I would if my dad said it about me, but it's because we aren't close. So if they are comfortable with it then whatever.
But that last picture of him looking at Ashleys breasts is very creepy.

Fuck that, what's creepy is that he made his other daughter get surgery in an effort to get her to look like her sister. I don't think he's sexually interested in his daughters, but I think he damn sure wants us to be. Which is kinda like being a pimp for your own children, and I think that's pretty bad. The only boner he gets is from looking at the balance in the Simpson family checking account.

Oh c'mon! I'm a nude model. My dad looks at my work all the time. He's very supportive and proud of me. I'm sure at one point or other he's mentioned my boobs. Everyone on the planet is talking about Jessica Simpson's boobs and I'm sure her dad gets a million questions about them from every perv reporter out there. He's bound to eventually respond with something that people can use to paint an ugly picture of him. I'm more worried about the sickos who enjoy putting a twisted sexual bend to everything they see or read. So what is the context of that picture of Joe and Ashlee? Did some photographer make a statement about her cleavage and Joe inadvertently looked down? That's the wonderful thing about modern news - you don't need the full story, just the part that sells papers.

It's certainly ok that he's aware of his daughter's boobs, as they're kinda hard to miss. But jesus, he sounds more excited about them than a kid with a candy bar. And her excuse for it is, "well, we're dumb rednecks so we gush excitedly about eachother's fun parts." I don't really have a conclusion here, other than to say that I need some mouthwash.
