"Viva La Bam" Star Arrested for Sexual Assault on a Child

Police arrested Vincent Don Vito Margera, co-star of MTV reality show Viva La Bam, on charges of sexual assault on a child. Prosecutors held Margera without bond in a Lakewood, CO jail.

Margera, 50, was arrested Friday night after a skateboarding event at a Lakewood mall. He is accused of two incidents of sexual assault on a child, city spokeswoman Stacie Oulton said. She said the charges involved inappropriate touching.

Don Vito, the incoherent, bumbling uncle of Jackass and Viva La Bam star Bam Margera, stopped in Lakewood to participate in a promotion for ManiaTV.com. Bam was not with Don Vito at the time of the incident, and his reps declined to comment.

I always thought one of the guys from Viva la bam would end up in prison but not don vito (possibly that is)

i always thought he would have a heart attack on one of the shows

I was actually a little surprised when I saw it was him. Mostly it weas because my mind ran through the young guys first and nearly every one of them seemed like a good possibility

I've seen enough episodes of the show to know that Don Vito doesn't make the brightest decisions...and does a lot of things to garner attention...many of them imcredibly crude & obnoxious. He also seems to be open to suggestion if he thinks it'll be funny.

I don't see it as inconceivable if someone were to say "Her Vito...I dare you to go smack that girl's ass" and he did it.

He's also the owner of a notorious drinking problem.

It doesn't make him guilty by reputation...it just means...I'm not surprised or shocked.
