Parker Posey Has Breakdown

"Queen of the Indies" Parker Posey has joined Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch, both of Saturday Night Live, for Spring Breakdown, a comedy set to begin filming in July.

According to Variety, the story "revolves around three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds."Ryan Shiraki will direct Spring Breakdown from a script he developed with Dratch in their first collaboration. The film is a follow-up to his feature directorial debut Freshman Orientation.Posey's latest flick, The Oh in Ohio, will be released to theaters July 14, and tells the story of a frigid woman's (Posey) sexual liberation. Other cast members include Paul Rudd, Mischa Barton, Miranda Bailey, and Liza Minnelli.
