Parker Posey Has Breakdown

"Queen of the Indies" Parker Posey has joined Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch, both of Saturday Night Live, for Spring Breakdown, a comedy set to begin filming in July.

According to Variety, the story "revolves around three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds."

Ryan Shiraki will direct Spring Breakdown from a script he developed with Dratch in their first collaboration. The film is a follow-up to his feature directorial debut Freshman Orientation.

Posey's latest flick, The Oh in Ohio, will be released to theaters July 14, and tells the story of a frigid woman's (Posey) sexual liberation. If you've ever wondered what a sex scene between Parker Posey and Danny DeVito would look like, this is your chance to find out. Other cast members include Paul Rudd, Mischa Barton, Miranda Bailey, and Liza Minnelli.

Wow, Mischa Barton's in this, too. That means in addition to Ryan Adams, Cisco Adler would be around. If we could get Brandon Davis together with the two of them, we could probably extract enough oil to get gas prices back down under a dollar per gallon.

I don't think they're still together, but ChampagneofDudes told me she came into the record store where he works while she was still dating Ryan, and bought a few Whiskeytown discs. It's like, if you're banging Ryan Adams, why the fuck are you still paying to buy his music. Shouldn't he be giving that shit to you for free?
