Windows Service Pack 2 a Winner

Paul Thurrot reviews a beta of Windows service pack 2 in the March 2004 edition of PC World and has quite a few nice things to say about the upcoming patch. Some highlights the pack includes are: simpler wireless networking and security, a stronger firewall that’s enabled by default, inherent pop-up blocking for Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Windows Messenger attachment protection, as well as automatic updates for the OS itself.
