As reported earlier this month, the new album is a compilation of "new" material. The "new" part is up for debate. It is a series of mash-ups and remixes created in collaboration with Le Cirque du Soleil from the master tapes by famed Beatles' producer Sir George Martin and son Giles. Ringo and Paul added their seal of approval to the project.
Ringo:
"George and Giles did such a great job combining these tracks. It's really powerful for me and I even heard things I'd forgotten we'd recorded."
Paul:
"This album puts The Beatles back together again, because suddenly there's John and George with me and Ringo."
It'd be weird if they said it sucked, though. Might hurt sales.
All you need is one more Beatles album.
