The countdown for the Queen Bee’s release started—a Philadelphia prison prepared an early release for ‘Lil Kim. A judge sentenced the rapper to a year and a day in jail for lying under oath to a grand jury about a 2001 shooting. Officials scheduled her release for July, 3, freeing Kim after serving ten months of her sentence
“I am thrilled to be coming home,” Lil’ Kim said Thursday in a statement issued by her publicist, Tracy Nguyen. “I thank all my fans for all their letters, as well as my family and friends for all their support throughout the past 10 months.”
