Over the holidays Ashley and I finally invested in a Macbook Pro and as a Windows PC user for the entirety of my life thus far, I must say that I'm quite in love. It runs a lot smoother and faster than Windows and in many regards has a more common sense interface. If you have a Mac now or are anytime in the future planning on getting one (which I would recommend), allow me to point you to the site http://www.mactips.org which can be an invaluable resource.
In other computer news, I have been browsing on both my Mac and PC recently with a relatively new browser called Flock (http://www.flock.com/). It takes some of the great features from Mac's Safari 3 browser, like the favorites toolbar that allows you to go to your most visited sites with a simple click under the address bar. It also adds easy tracking of your friends for social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and You Tube (but none for Myspace yet, that I can find). It is built on the same engine as Firefox and thus is compatible with many of the Firefox extensions. Most notable of those to your average surfer would be Session Manager (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=session+manager&status=4),
which allows you to reopen accidentally closed or crashed tabs and windows without a loss of information, save any open window or entire surfing sessions, and a host of other things.
Finally, for those of you who couldn't be at our wedding (since we had a pretty short guest list), you can now enjoy the whole 15 or so minute affair on You tube in 2 parts:

Hopefully very soon I will be posting my end of the year video game wrap up and in case you were wondering about movies or music, the best records I heard last year came from Bright Eyes and Sage Francis (both A+) and the best movie I can remember was the double feature Grindhouse. Hope 2008 has gotten off to a good start for you all.
