Going for a job interview tomorrow in kilkenny.Not that I really want to go there.
Just did a phone thing with a hospital back home (kuwait). I think they liked me and might get the job. I don't really want to move back at this stage but it's an easier job with excellent pay so I'll get rid of loans easily.One of the worst parts of being back home is the lack of SG fun that'll probably ensue
Then going for a weekend in london where I plan to do nothing but get high and watch TV at my brothers place.

update: All done. I'm now waiting for the results.
Just finished the second of 4 practical exams (yes it was on a saturday morning !!! FUCK ) and although I'm pretty sure I managed to do poorly I don't think it was all my fault !
I got a kid with a hole in its heart (to infact, she hada cushion defect) and a kid with amelia except for one sporadic phalangeal growth pud.She had no hands or legs just one finger. She was pretty cool though. Spent the exam talking about playstation and what not. I had fun the kids had fun and the parents had fun but I don't think the examiners were impressed. Oh well....
2 more to go then I have to start thinking about next years fees....fuck !
So I've got 18 hours to turn into a pediatrician. Any ideas?
Edit: by pediatrician I mean learn pediatrics for an exam not become a fully qualified specialist.
update: Just came back. One kid with seizures, one kid with no limbs (yup none. only one finger) and one kid with 2 holes in her heart)

Edit: Had to go get a haircut today. Usually I just shave my head and let it grow to a sort of peter jacksonish length and then shave it again. (yes I also had the beard.)
I now I'm clean shaven and have my hair cut really short. The reason for this you ask ??? Practical exams with patients. Aparently I need to look "more acceptable" is the way the guy giving the exam brief put it (YES HE POINTED AT ME !)
How many people here would give a shit what their doctor looked like so long as he/she was realtivley clean and knew their shit .....

spent the whole day (well not the whole day; I didn't weak up till 1 in the afternoon) in the library. I'm in the hospital right now completing what I'm hoping is going to be my last call till the exams in two weeks. I'm attached to oncology
Seems quiet. Everybody looks depressed (which is understanble) or I'm just tired. Hopefully the night will go smooth I can get some work done.
Will keep you guys posted if anything cool and ER like happens.

Right now I'm studying for exams which I have on in 2 weeks. Sucks been spending 10-12 hours in the library a daymost days and I'm also in the hospital 2-3 days a week. At this stage I've lost the will to learn.
