Been a while.

just went for a job interview. Fingers crossed . Didn't go as bad as I thought it would.

Sorry I haven't been on for a while...... Today marks my first six months back .... and it sucks.

I've basically grown more and more withdrawn since I got here (though i doubt I'm missing much). Anyway how are things with you guys ?

Mono Sucks .....

Had a guy with mono on the ward this week.

Now all the doctors have it (including yours truely) as well as half the patients ....

and to top it all off ---> ITS PAY DAY !!!!!

So howhave I spent the past month:

Work .... TV .... Work .... TV .... and fasting through the whole thing

Being forced to fast and participate in group prayer for a month has only re-affirmed my hatred on organised religion ......

So I've just finished my first week working fulltime at the hospital. It's been the best week I've had since I got here. I wouldn't say I like my job so much as I'm addicted to it. (it's the most exciting thing you can do here). I've had 2 days oncall this week (which wasn't so bad). Most of my patients came in with strokes (wierd ?!?!), one guy had a seizure for close to an hour, he had to be sedated and intubated, another is just there cause he's afraid he might get sick if he leaves. That's just about it really.
