To any/all hairdressers reading this: what are your hairdressing pet peeves?

Mine is definitely time checkers. You know, those clients who check their watches EVERY. THREE. SECONDS.
Also clients who rock up late and then have the nerve to give me the hurry up.

It's been ages since I was last here! How's it going? What have you been doing?

Life has been busy and quiet at the same time, if that makes any sense?! Work has been pretty busy, but inside manage to have a few nights away with Andy, which was awesome! We stayed at a house in Montville which was surrounded by lovely green trees and mountains. No neighbours. Spa in the bedroom! Delicious restaurants. And a cheese factory

Pole is going well. Next performance night is in 5 weeks and it feels like we've barely done anything! Costumes are sorted though, so that's something at least!

In other news, I have 12 days off over Christmas and I can't fucking wait!!! I'm pretty sure I won't want to go back after my little holiday. Not that I'm going anywhere, but time off is always awesome!

Pole is going really well! Just finished all the levels, including grad foundations, and will start grads in January! Feeling good about my progress, and even considering doing some amature comps mid next year if I keep progressing the way I have been I have some really great instructors! Very inspiring

I haven't been on here in ages! Well that's not entirely true. I've been here and have *tried* to post a few time but my phone fucks up and my post gets eaten by the abyss.

Terrible day at work. Difficult friend-client who wants the impossible. And puts me on an impossible time limit for said impossibleness. Ack! And a difficult boss who won't let me order a better quality colour range that will do what I need it to do. Double ack!!

And now another friends hair after work. But this time a nice, lovely friend who is happy for me to do what I want to her hair! Sweet relief!

Then green chicken and veg curry for dinner and a glass of wine and maybe a nice soak in the bath.

Hand up if you hate unpacking after moving house?
The only good bit is that I've had a massive clean up.

4 sleeps till sgau ball! So excited to be catching up with old friends and meeting new ones

Putting the finishing touches on my costume today and picking up wig #2 from the post office. First one turned out to be total shit!

My folks are coming for a visit today. I will undoubtedly have an argument with my mum at some point. Her mood is even more unstable now that she is attempting to give up smoking.

I have to do my tax tonight too hoping it comes back nice and fast. I've put it off for a while because of the move and not having Internet except on my phone. Now I've got things I have to do/plan etc and if there's anything left over I'm buying myself a new pair of skates!!!

Started seeing a dietitian again. Wow what a change in my eating habits! I'm feeling good, have lost some weight in a healthy way and have eliminated my headaches! Woo!

Shopping expedition resulted in an almost complete costume for the SGAU ball! I have to do a tiny bit of sewing, and maybe a little bit of painting and then I'm all done. Thanks Tez for the costume idea am now starting to get excited about it!

Am finally moved into Andy's place now. Yay!

I have a serious case of nesting!

I'm halfway thru moving in with my man and we've just bought a new fridge and we're looking for a new couch. I want to make the unit a nice little home for us. It's kinda scary. But also kinda exciting too.

I'm going shopping for a nice reading chair for my little studio too.
Excited that I will have a 'studio'.

Exciting expedition with some awesome SG kids on the weekend. Greazefest here we come!

new hair! NEW HAIR! new cut and colour! well same colour but fresh! i could dancearound my lounge room, thats how happy i am!

i;m sporting a hardcore undercut. i can still wear my pomp. my boss is probably going to be VERY unhappy in the morning. whoops!!! i'll post a pic later when i cna be bothered to spend the time doing it.

crisis averted! massive sigh of relief

feeling like shit tho... everyone seems to be sick at the mo. not sure whats wrong but i think i may feel about a hundred times better if i just chop my head off and get a new one. headaches for days. blergh.

i'm getting really bored with my long locks... it may be time for a change again. not sure if i should just cut more layers, change the colour or go for a whole new look. i do know that i feel like a frumpy housewife tho lol so absolutely time for a change.
any suggestions would be appreciated
