Looks like I just landed a full time job as of around September! And possibly part time till then as long as we can come to some kind of agreement on hours. I'll be working back in a salon again. Yay! It's funny how things work out sometimes. I'll be the only full time staff and it's a nice, recently renovated space I'm actually pretty excited! It will be awesome timing too. I'm moving house on the 2nd of September, and will be sharing with a friend and so rent will be low and wage will be higher so I'll actually be able to pay off my debt and SAVE! WOO!!!!!
Im meeting up with my new boss on Monday to talk about hours, so I'll know then if I have to stay at the bar till September or not. I can't wait to not have to work nights! Then I'll actuallybe able to start catching up with friends and seeing my man play gigs and having lazy Sunday's again! This makes me a very happy nik

the shit news is that somewhere between 4pm yesterday and midday today, i've misplaced or lost $70. FUCK FUCKITY FUCK! ... its gotta be here somewhere... right?!?

what have you all been up to? i've been working lots and trying to get my business plan together. things got put on hold because of health issues but i'm back on track with an almost all clear bill of health!

i took up pole dancing for fitness almost 2 months ago and i'm loving it! i can feel myself getting stronger each week and its exciting to nail a new trick or routine!!! i'm definitely adicted

i've decided that when my lease is up i'm going to move house. its been nice living on my own for almost 12 months but it will be nice to live with somebody again and nice to have some savings! the plans have started and i'm going to start loooking at some places in a few weeks, siince i only have about 10 weeks left here.

my coastal carpet python, Pig, has moved house too. she was getting a bit too big for me to handle safely on my own since she was rather fond of trying to constrict me and has gone to live with a friend of a friend of mine.

i now have one of my old blue tongue lizards back with me! Honray is 6 years old and when i got divorced i had to find him a new home but he's back!!! he spent the afternoon chasing crickets around his enclosure and is now sleeping off his food baby! hehe.

i've missed some of you loads! time now to go take a peek at some blogs and see what you've been up to!

so... i've been asked to be a bridesmaid in october this year, and also in september next year. looks like im growing my hair! now that i have a reason, it'll make it so much easier for me to stick with my plan!

i'm cooking a stirfry for a LATE dinner tonight. i'm having a night at home... feels like i haven't spent any time here in ages!

actually it looks like i'm goig out for a late night coffee! just got a call from pants and we are going to go for a walk and then to pancake manor i'm going to get the blueberry stack. its delish!

wow, i've had a special day...

i feel like now that Andy has started his new job and because i work nights it's only going to get harder to find time to spend together. i was really looking forward to doing something different with him tonight, but his folks decided to come for a visit and so he bailed on the exhibition opening tonight. i had to bite my tongue and say it was ok but i feel really shit about it. he has promised to come to see the exhibition with me before it closes but i just don't think he really wants to go. it shits me because i always do stuff he wants to do and i constantly compromise for him but the worst part is that i don't think he is even aware of it

tomorrow night is the opening night of an ehxibition of paintings and drawings about portraits of meaningful tattoos...

this is exciting because a painting of me is part fo the collection! also in the collection is MissMinda. (and a few of our friends too!)

Gosh. It feels like an age since I last posted, but I can't honestly say that anything exciting has really happened.

Things with Andy are good.
Work is shit. Didn't get that other job.
Still trying to sort salon stuff.

Friends - we all work different hours and it's hard to find time lately. I miss some of them heaps. More than they realise, I'm certain of that.

I spent a night by myself last night for the first time in ages. I slept heaps - recovery after a huge week at work with all the st paddy's celebrations going on.

Andy starts his new job tomorrow. I'd love to be able to be there in the morning to give him a kiss on his first day... but instead I'm stuck at fucking work. It's so dead tonight. It's all I can do to stay awake.

Tomorrow night will be better. I'm cooking for my man. And I get snuggles signs of nesting I guess. We finally had a talk about living together. Not yet but maybe after our leases are up around September. Hurry up September!
