i briefly added eli as a favorite. i removed her after admitting to myself that it wasn't her i enjoyed so much as it was her recent set, 'Tell Tale Heart'. my interest in the set, while wonderfully done, was peaked solely by my allegiance to The Tell-Tale Heart. those of you that know, know me will understand why that poe story holds such a special place in my ♥.
i think it's pretty fucked up that trilo got the sneaky, silent zot. he was an asset to this community and will be sorely missed by many. i also think it's fucked up that this administration just 'zots' people, especially paying customers. i do hope that they at least find it in their hearts (and bank accounts) to refund their victims a pro-rated membership fee.
on a side note, Juliette Lewis made a guest appearance in a recent episode of My Name is Earl. i never realized what a sexy voice she has. hot damn.

so they took the breathing tube out, and she's stll kicking. i just don't get it. this might sound mean to some of you out there, but i really think her time has come and gone and yet still she lives. i think she's still alive because she was such a mean and miserable person. (well, at least as long as i've know her.) a touch of karma, if you will. please don't think me cruel and heartless. i'm not. i show her respect. i visit her. hell, i even taught myself conversational slovak to communicate with her. but she is/was a nasty woman.

my friend patrick made me the dopest, most fantastic card for my birthday. it's black with a byzantine (sp?) queen on the front in cream, opal and silver tones. on the inside, he put a sticker of elvis' head (in the good days) and he covered the message with one of his own. a little verse:

and she, the QUEEN"
i must say (with absolutely no offense to all who have expended effort and time to give me gifts) that it is one of the top 3 things i've ever received from anyone.
i've always thought myself to be a pretty great gift-giver. it's a talent i frequently boast about. patrick puts me to shame.
today, i'm appreciating all the special people in my life and being grateful for having so many GOOD people around me.
