Hello true believers!
Once again my Tuesday was a bit of a busy day so here I am back on Wednesday bringing you some full frontal nerdity! Boy oh boy and I excited for the next few weeks! This weekend I'm having a board game night which I'm very much looking forward to and there will also be a BBQ along with it, which will also be awesome! Next week is Global Fest which is essentially a week of Fireworks, so Tamara and I are going down one night and then we're taking her kids on a different night. What else... ah yes Evil Dead The Musical is back in town so we've got tickets to go see that! And if I'm not mistaken Doctor Who is starting up in a couple of weeks as well! Very Exciting!
Quick Side note
Today I started a 30 Day Drawing Challenge where each day I have a different subject to draw. I just finished my day one drawing and I'm very excited to do all the rest with each day! You can check out todays art here on tumblr.

I promised that I'd share one of my Character bios with you this week and I'm here to deliver! I'm going to tell you about Commander David Hark. He was born in Chicago in July 19 2015, but was mostly raised in Florida because his father was a NASA scientist. In this future NASA is still the American space program where as the UFSE is a world wide initiative that was founded in the year 2034. The purpose of UFSE is to bring together the worlds best and brightest and explore and research space. UFSE is responsible for all three successful manned Mars missions in 2040, 2049 and most recently 2052. UFSE has made deep space exploration possible by the establishment of the Moon station which became operational in 2038.
David earned the rank of Commander in NASA after salvaging a disastrous mission that was supposed to be regular maintenance on Earth's meteor protection ring when a small cloud of miniature meteor rocks hailed down on the equipment. From the four man crew only David, who was the Flight Engineer at the time, and Emily Wong the Payload Specialist survived. Mission Specialist Greg Hawthorn and Commander Mark Yates died in space due to ruptured space suits. David was able to bring the shuttle back down to Earth even though it was heavily damaged from the meteor shower and saved the life of his remaining crew mate.
David was hand picked by Harold Freeman, the Director of UFSE Operations when the planning for operation Cosmic Response began in 2049. David has commanded several space missions ranging from routine satellite maintenance, space station docking and personel transfer from Earth to the Moon to deep space probe launches and exploration of the dark side of the Moon. He is calm and collected when faced with a difficult decision and always gets the mission done.
David has two children, Luke and Jessica, but is divorced. The long hours at the base as well as being away from home several months of the year strained on his marriage with Carol. While they still love each other, Carol still believes it was the right thing for her and the children to leave David. David's children are his drive and inspiration for always getting the job done so he can get back home and see them. While he may appear to be cold to his crew, he's actually very kind and a family man. Emily, who is now his Co-Pilot, knows him better than anyone and always looks up to him because how strong-willed he is.
Cosmic Response all in all is set to be a 10 year mission. David accepted the mission on the promise that when he returns he may retire from space exploration as well as USFE and NASA and the hope that he can patch things up with Carol and his kids.

I'd love to know what you think of my background for David. Also I've never written a character bio before so I'm not even sure if I did it "right" Anyways thoughts and opinions!
Cheers!
