So I think that it's been determined by the powers that be that I am not allowed to actually have money.

Turns out that when you bounce a check, they keep running it until it goes through. I had never bounced a check before so I didn't know this. Being the courteous bastard that I am, I wrote another check for my landlord, dating it ahead so it would go through on a day I would have money in my account.

Well, the original check went through, and then a few days later the second went though too...but of course there was not enough money for the check again...so they charged me another 25 god damn dollars! Had I known this would happen I wouldn't have written the check, or I would have canceled the original check...but thinking that a bounced check is rendered void by the fact that it...wel bounced, is apparently a belief that you get charged 25 MORE dollars for...fucking assholes.

and of course I work until 50 so the only way for me to argue the charges is for me to take my lunch break to do so...banks really have this taking your money away from you shit down to a fine science...

On a lighter note, I have a sad burrito tonight for dinner...I'm afraid cheap tortillas just don't hold fixin's together very well.

So, Eisley's new album comes out in a little over a month...I'm so excited I could die. I mean...just so you can all know how much I love Eisley, I saw them twice when I went to europe last summer, in as many days...and I paid 60 pounds for a ticket to the second show...then they played the same set as the night before (OK, I don't love them for that, but it's not like they knew some obsessed (read, obsessed but not psycho) fan decided to see them twice.) anyway...I loooooooove eisley. I told this guy at a party shortly after bright eyes cassadaga came out, I hadn't bought it yet because I was broke and only like buying from the local shop, cuz I'm a nerd that way...Anyway, he told me that Sherri and Stacy Dupree (odf eisley, iffen you ain't payin' attention) did back up vocals on one song...I sold a bunch of other albums just to get it...it was so worth it because they don't just sing backup on ONE song, they sing on like...SIX! One more way for you to know...just how much I love eisley...I was in a record shop in boulder and they had an early Eisley LP and I made a fucking scene right there in the shop...it was 8 bucks but I forked it over so fast george and lincoln cheeks flapped in the wind!





Now that I've expelled a stream of consciousness or-gasm-atory on eisley...

this band makes my heart weep big...drippy...chocolatey...squid tears!

anyway, I found out my best friend since 8th grade moved to Baltimore...I'm not entirely opposed to this because he's doin' well there, and It's just another reason to travel to the east coast...but I feel bad because eh said he told me, but I don't remember. Sorry Chris.

NExt time you're trying to decide what type of memory to get for your camera keep this in mind.

Reasons to NOT get a 2 GB media card for your camera.
-holds a shit ton of pictures, if you lose it...you've just lost a shit ton of pistures.
-takes for fucking ever to load onto your computer.
-takes forever to load on your camera
-takes forever to delete pictures unless you format
-takes three CDs to backup.

Reasons TO get a 2 GB media card
-You have a camera with OVER 8 megapixels
-You have a camera that shoots in RAW format
-you know how to use a computer and therefore know the dangers of having such a large media card
-it was on sale cheaper than the 1 GB and you NEVER plan on filling it more than half-way

So I bought a ticket to eisley's show...it's on august 4th and I'm so excited! I wish ticket master didn't have such sky high fees, it would almost have been better to buy it night of, but I don't want to risk it selling out...it's before the album comes out but you never know...they toured with (barely concealed air of contempt) the fray, so I'm sure a lot of people are starting to get wise to them and I can't stand to lose a ticket to, of all people, a Fray fan...

So I've won a three day stay in vegas...I'm trying to decide if it's worth it...I mean, if I book a flight far enough in advance sure...but still...why couldn't they pay my airfare too? dicks...I wish they'd made things simple and just given me the fucking xbox...but I shouldn't complain...free hotel room in vegas is cool too.

anyway, I'm trying ot figure out when to go, because I want to do something cool and vegas is like...the convention center planet on invader ZIM...I was hoping to find a rare coin convention...not that I'm into rare coins, but I am into movies and I have a great idea for a short film involving rare coins and gambling...but now I may just have to figure something else out that is a little less complicated.

anyway...if anyone knows of cool shit going on in vegas from september onward, drop me a line!

So I'm thinking I need more male friends...I'm miserably lacking in them...I've gone so far as to saying I need a "man-date"

That's not to say I don't want to meet new girls too...I like meeting anyone new, because honestly I'm not that picky and I just need a change of scene in general.

I live with two girls and my roommate's black lab, who is cool as shit but likes to sit with me in the basement and fart...pretty sad the only other guy who'll sit in the basement and fart with me isn't even the same species...ha!

Now that I've revealing TMI, I'm sure it'll take me less than four hours to go back and revise this for something a little more appealing to...well anyone.
