Went to monolith last night...Cake and Decemberists...it was a sweet show. I wish I could have gone tonight to see Flaming lips...oh well, maybe next time they come.

It's funny...I saw The Flaming Lips last year when they played Red Rocks and they did a cover of "War Pigs", and this year Cake did a cover of "War Pigs", crazy, huh?

I don't remember if I wrote this here or not but If I did you're going to have to endure it a second time. My dad called the other day and asked how I've been, asked me what I've been up to. I told him that I just bought a new video card and some ram for my computer. He says, "Oh...well, I hope you're not becoming one of those...GAMERS" he says "Gamers" like a trailer park manager might say queers. I say to him, "Becoming? dad, where have you been the past...23 years...I've always played lots of video games." he says to me, "Well, this guy I used to work with spent 6 hours a night on some online CRAP." I didn't have the stones to say it at the time but I wanted to say, "Dad, you spend six hours a night watching NCIS and fox news while reading Tom Clancy...I don't think you have much room to be judgemental, at least this guy is probably socializing in some fashion whereas you are just getting your news filtered through a douchebag with a bow tie."

I'm completely and utterly uninterested in anything lately...I can barely finish a movie, it sucks.

I finally traced the source of my C drive woes...for the longest time I've been unable to figure out what took up so much space and it turns out that at some point iTunes got it in its head that I wanted my music and videos on my 80gb C drive rather than my 200gb E drive...an entire season of battlestar galactica and half a season of scrubs plus a handful the Riches and some albums were randomly stuck in my documents and setting folder! Turns out I didn't have to uninstall anything, just move a bunch of files...oh well, a little cleaning never hurt anyone...wish I could figure out a safe way to clean out my "c:/.../local settings/ temp" files...another couple gb would be nice.

Saw the lamest car today...it was a jeep cherokee painted up like the general lee with the dixie horn...

Finally getting around to cleaning my bathroom...I'd have cleaned it more often if the task of scrubbing the writing of the walls of my shower weren't so daunting. I wrote in china marker on the tile a long while ago for a photography project I was working on and then never got around to cleaning it off. when I finally did clean one wall it took me four hours because I didn't have the right stuff. Today I got a scrub brush and had it off in minutes! But the whole thing is still

I was hoping this girl that I see occasionally who is friends and roommate's with another of my friends. I wouldn't call us friends per se, close acquaintances perhaps...close enough to have each other's numbers. I really should just grow some stones and ask her out but I'm too...

This has really been just an outstanding week for SG, really awesome sets from some amazing girls. I dont mean to snub any of the other girls, I'm impressed by the lot of you, but if this week is any indication, then whomever is to come has their work cut out for them!

I got my RAM the other day...finally. I was so excited, I busted open my computer and popped that puppy in! Come to find out though...the heat spreader on it is just a micron too low and it just BARELY fits...the little clips on the sides to close fully so hopefully the new video card I'm ordering on Tuesday will not be so long as to cause issues...what I don't understand is how the heatspreader doesn't fit...is my board really that old/different that it has a smaller RAM slot?

I was out at my friend's apartment last night and this chef from a new restaurant opening next week was having a few beers with us and a couple other tenants...One of whom is this redneck cowgirl type. We were talking about cowboys don't ride horse anymore, they ride trucks and the chef guy started making jokes about the crazy ass trucks these fuckers drive...he's all f-350 rancho somethin' somethin' diesel and the cowgirl says, "I'll fuck anybody with that truck" to which the Chef replied, "Honey, I know about 50 guys with that truck, we could make a lot of money that way!"...now maybe thats one of those "You had to be there" stories, especially since that was 1 of maybe...30 hilarious things this guy said last night...but I just thought I'd share.

is it just me or do all the Italian SGs have their current crush as "Japan!" I mean...I must be missing something...is there in SG exchange program...or maybe they are there recruiting?

I've had...the biggest headache all day...I've been drinking lots of water and even broke down and took an aleve, which didn't help, so I took another one later...fookin' 'ell it's like someone;s filtering sand through my brain it's so bad...my ears are ringing...I tried sitting outside thinking it was artifficial light bothering me but that didn't help either. Guess I'll just have to wait it out.

Newegg had become like porn for me...when I get home I browse it and drool. I try to find the best stuff on there but I've been on it so many times I think I figured out what is best for my price range...then I realize that any price range is out of my price range...I hate saving money...I'd rather just go out and spend it, but stince I now have an actual goal for what I want to do I suppose that saved money is a bit more tangible.

I think my tape deck is officially shot which means no more iPod in the car...I've tried cleaning everything but it keeps saying no tape found...lame! I'll probably just buy some cheap speakers...sucks to be me.

And that's just stuff I WANT...I'm such a materialistic asshole...wish I could find something to spend my money on that wasn't toys for myself.

So my roommate's ex boyfriend died yesterday...she came home balling her eyes out. Apparently he died from drug interaction...he had promised he wouldn't do it anymore. She was really distraught and now she's not here so I'm hoping she just decided to get her mind off him by going to work or school or a friends house and she's not off somewhere drowning her sorrows...She's probably fine but I'm still a bit concerned. But she left her dog here which means she's probably at work or school. She would have taken him if she'd gone anywhere else I'm sure.

I will never understand what compels people to do such unsafe things to themselves...

I don't know why, but the sound of my deodorant hitting the tile floor of my bathroom is like nails on a chalk board to me...it literally makes me want to scream in agonizing horror...am I crazy?
