Getting close to a month here with my lady and it's pretty sweet...the both of us are no nonsense kind of people, at least as far as relationships go, so we get along pretty dandily.

We went and saw Sweeney Todd last night and had a devilishly fn tie making fun of it. I like to think that's what was intended because it really does make fun of itself and the entire musical genre as a whole...but then what else is Sondheim known for?

The best part was the Emo song "I'm in the dark beside you"

and the fake blood was beyond stagey...it was cartoony...GREAT!

I feel like I should update...I don't really know what to say though.

So I'm really deeply in like with Lindsay at this point. It's scarcely been two weeks and already I'm extremely attached to her.

I sent my motherboard back to Newegg and hope to get a new one this coming friday or so...so can't wait to have a working beastie fucking rig to play Gears of War and Other such nonsense.

I went to barnes and noble with my friend robin last night. I try not to buy anything when I go there but I ended up getting some magazines. I suppose it could have been worse and I could have bought 5 books like I normally do. which is silly because I haven't read so much as a CHAPTER in two weeks since instead of reading at lunch like I normally do I'm texting with Lindsay...which I vowed I wouldn't do as much because I think I've probably gotten to 1000 texts by now...I guess I have unlimited though so that's good.

I rented Transformers from a McDonalds red box last night...barely worth the one dollar. Entertaining yes, better than Armageddon like the nerd in the fucking movie says? Meh, I suppose...Doesn't Michael Bay deserve to have two movies in the criterion collection? Not in my book, but that hasn't STOPPED HIM!

I bought some compound w wart removal pads and they say "Repeat every 48 hours" which I took to mean "Wear 48 hours" OH MY GOD! I seriously am freaked out and in pain here...I have an acid burn the size of a two cent euro and it hurts like hell

Lindsay is telling me to leave it alone and put a bandaid on it but even just washing my hands was like being kiss by my creepy great great aunt.

Anyway, me and Lindsay are quickly becoming very...whatever. I'm rather enjoying it!

Well Great. I spent 1200 dollars and over 6 hours on a new computer and the damn thing won't turn on...little orange light says there is power, but it won't turn on...and it sparked. It fucking sparked at me. So not happy Jan

On a lighter note this girl I've been going out with is awesome. I like her...a lot. And she's a hot redhead, which is double plus good.

Alright so I've been out a couple times with the cute girl and she's alright. We have some pretty similar interests and really she reminds me of me when I was her age...aside form the whole female thing.

I spent WAY too much on groceries the other night and had to break out some of my savings (read, all but the five dollars keeping the account open) to stay in teh black...I got fifty from my roommate coming next week hopefully and another fifty from columbia house (damn you Jack Bower! I don't want you in my house!)

So totally asking out the cute redhead at the other Walgreens...she totally likes me and has made it very clear. I love it when there are no mind games involved...makes life so much more enjoyable. (Okay so none yet...I might experience the mind games after we go out a few times.)

Ok, I know it's my own stupid damn fault for becoming a member but FUCK YOU COLUMBIA HOUSE for sending me 24 season 6...52 dollars you shits?! Grrr...I don't want to wait 6 weeks for a refund...and you'll probably charge me shipping for an open box even though it was probably one of YOUR guys who TAPED the shipping box shut. And why can't you cancel my membership on a Saturday? Oh that's right because you have to send me to a customer service representative who will TALK MY EAR OFF about all the deals I'll be missing.

So I'm doing pretty good otherwise. I got David Bowie and The Kinks on vinyl at the record store yesterday using my christmas gift certificate...and I'll be Getting "Dress To Kill" this week sometime too.

I'm so so so tempted to order my new computer stuff this month but I know I should wait until February to do so just so I an save that much more money...but it's so tempting!

so I'm driving back to FC from Winter Park and suddenly my RPMs go up to 5000 when I'm going 25... and then my heat cuts out... AND THEN I hear this thumping noise from my engine. so I pull over, in the freezing cold blasting wind, two miles from the last town, six miles from the next town, and I check my engine. Everything SEEMS fine but when I go to start my car it won't turn over...

So I call my dad and he says I need antifreeze and a jump. So it'll be a half hour...a half hour later he calls to say it'll be ANOTHER half hour because he went to the store to find MORE anti-freeze because my step sister only had half a bottle. By now my car is pretty cold and I have to pee really bad. So I find an empty washer fluid bottle and pee in that...and set it by my feet because theya re freezing.

My dad finally arrives and we put in the antifreeze and try to jump it but nothing happens. So we call AAA, from the next town six miles away, to have it towed, but we have to go back and get m stuff and leave the keys. So it's almost two hours now since my car died. And I'm already 12 hours late to work. They even switched my shift so I wouldn't miss any hours...well I'm starving by now so my dad buys me dinner too so I get home aroun 9 o'clock and I was scheduled til 10:30, luckily it was new years eve so there weren't many people looking to have photos developed.

Anyway, Short story long, I had to replace the water pump and the battery...it's gonna take two months of rent. Fucking cars are such a pain...then again I'm glad I got to go skiing since it had been almost a whole year.

I'm stuck in Winter Park because of high winds on I-70 and US 40. Using my step sister's laptop to check my bank balance...damn mother fuckers took 25 dollars because I overdrafted even though I have plenty of money o course. Wish I'd thought to check my balance earlier. Although I wonder if it would have helped anyway since transfers usually go through AFTER payments...assholes.

Skiing was a blast though. The snow was pretty good and I had great fun despite the insane wind. I used my step sister's awesome racing skis...they were fucking SWEET! I wish I had money to buy some, but then I'd have to spend the money on lift tickets to USE them. Guess I'll just be a nerd and spend that money on a new computer instead
