Well. It's been awhile since I've posted a blog.

So I've been trying to come to grips with what I want in a relationship. I have been on various dating websites and have been on quite a few dates. Most have been only 1 date. 1 lasted a few months. But last nights date was a bit... strange...

Usually, the ladies I have met want to take things slow and that's cool. I've jumped into a relationship fast and regretted it. Plus, I never kiss on a first date... It's just a personal thing. So, this girl messaged me a few weeks ago. We messaged back and forth for a week and moved to texting and phone calls the second week. She was cool, but not awesome. She didn't get why I loved comic conventions and she didn't understand my nerdy/geeky side. She accepted it, but simply didn't understand.

I met last night for the first time. She was extremely excited and so was I. We got sushi to go and ate at the beach. It was cold, but we cuddle up together. When it started to rain, we went into my car to continue to talk. She wanted to cuddle up again. Okay, it was a bit strange to me. While we were cuddling, she started to kiss me. We started making out and I forced myself to stop. I told her I don't want to go that fast. It's only our first date. She made the point that the only way to avoid the friend zone. So we continued to cuddle and make out until midnight. On my drive home, I couldn't get the feeling of being rushed out of my head. Usually after a good date, I'm all smiles and want to see her again. After this date, I felt weirded out and very hesitant to see her again.

I'd like to hear what are some ways to handle this because I was completely blind sided by this date...

On a side note, I went to Wonder Con on Saturday. Me and my friend tried to get into the Evil Dead signing, but out of the 5 draws for the raffle to get a bracelet for the signing, we got crap. We did see the panel and Bruce Campbell was hilarious as usual and Jane Levy was gorgeous.

I bought a few things for my station at work and looked around. It's a nice pre SDCC preparation!

I just turned 28 yesterday and I had so much fun with my coworkers. I thought my friends I've known for years would show, but one 2 did and almost all my closest coworkers.

Anyone got Dead Space 3? That game makes me jump like crazy!

Question for the guys and girls out there about dating:
Ladies: do you generally look for younger or older guys?
Guys: would you date a woman older than you by 7+ years?

I only ask because there's a 34 year old woman messaging me on match.com and really wants to meet me. Just like some perspective...

The last week was a living hell. My dad was hospitalized Monday. He got better and came home Wednesday. Then my grandpa was hospitalized Thursday night... Thank God he got better and is now home.

I met a pretty cool girl on Okcupid.com. She likes the tv shows I like, she likes zombies and the Walking Dead, she gets ALL of my jokes, and she's beautiful. She's a bit self conscious about herself because she's curvy, but I don't care. Her personality is pretty much what I'm looking for! I'm excited and extremely nervous about Sunday... I'm nervous that I'll say something stupid... My nervous cough is coming back.

Anyways, Christmas is almost here! It's my godson's birthday and I think went a bit overboard with the gifts for his birthday and Christmas. I think I went over lard with gifts this year.

This past weekend was pretty awesome! I got to kick it with my family and eat a delicious Thanksgiving meal. I did go Black Friday Shopping at midnight and managed to pick up Need For Speed Most Wanted 2 and a Nixon watch at a local surf/skate store. Saturday night I had dinner with lady I met on okcupid. It went really well. We both agreed we had an awesome time. I messaged her to ask her if she'd be down to meet up again. Unfortunately, she hasn't gotten back to me.... Oh well... hopefully she'll at least give me an answer that she's not interested.

On another note....

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is out! Go get it! Most people think it's a Smash Bros. clone. I'd say they're about 35% correct. Concept is there, but they took it to a new level with combos, strategy, and an overall refinement. I'm honored and proud to be part of an incredible project!



I can't wait for Christmas!!!

So for the last 4 months I've been testing a game exclusive to the Playstation 3. For 2 months I've been working 7AM to 8PM shifts 4 out of the 5 work days in the week. Best part about having that schedule is not having to deal with traffic going and then coming home. I'm super excited to be part of the team that worked extremely hard to get the PS3 and Vita version of it out of format. It's going to be released this month so keep and eye out for it! Can you guess what it is?

I still can't believe the month of October is over... My Halloween was chill. I entered into the costume contest at work in the "Best Sony Character Costume". I went as Reaper Cole from Infamous 2.

Sad part is that I lost to the guy in the middle who's the Vampire Cole from Infamous 2's Festival of Blood DLC... That's right, I lost to the Twilight version of myself.... and he made his Stake-Amp and costume in 2 days while mine actually took about 2-3 weeks to make the jacket and Amp... FML, $100 Gift Card robbed away from me. I guess the consolation prize was that everyone that was on title with me said my costume should have won.... oh well...

I'm super happy for her! She managed to get second place in an online contest for Borderlands costumes.

Me and a few of my friends were going to a Halloween event at Balboa Park, but all of them flaked out on me at the last minute... Instead, I went trick or treating with my godson and niece. Both of them were pirates!

At this point in the night, he was tired and wanted to sleep...

I've never put that much effort into costumes before and I have to say I had fun putting together this particular one. I'm going to put the flames on the sleeves and make a new Amp for Comic Con. Stay tuned for that!

Christmas and New Years are heading this way. I love both holidays just because I get to spend it with my family and friends. The only sad part is that I'm spending it single... again... This part of the years stings...

A friend of mine and I were talking about the end of the world and how we'd handle things while we were on a dinner break at work... He asked, "When the world around you falls down and life as we know it ends, what will you be doing?"

I answered:
"I'll be standing next to my queen and simply watch the world burn to nothing... Nothing matters as long as she's by my side..."

He sat there and pondered for a moment... and he said:
"That's some real deep shit dude..."

From what I understand from his FB post this morning and the comment left by his 'ex', it seems like he finally got over his pride and made up with his girlfriend.

I wish I had that someone to hold again like him...

Mandatory week off from work. Not going to complain... There's been a few things on my mind involving social life and work. I wish I could talk about either one, but I'm bound by my contract not to talk about work and my social life... meh... I'll talk about it later. I think I need a vacation aside from this week off....

In the meantime, how about making Alone Time with Bradley and Alicee go Front Page? Damn this set drives me wild!!! If it doesn't for you, well then I just have to ask, "Are you dead?" $#(*%&$#%*%#*!@*&

It's pretty hot and muggy out here... Since we're on a "conserve energy during peak hours" state here in San Diego, we had to test games pretty much in the dark. Our air conditioners were kept to minimal usage... Not good when there's 15+ PS3, LCD TVs, and computers on in one room in addition to the 15 workers... gross...

So I've been growing my hair out for a new hairstyle for Fall/Winter. It seems like a dumb idea considering the current weather, but I just want to get a jump start on it. I was thinking about doing Alex Turner's style from Arctic Monkeys



What do you think? I was even considering trying Dante's hairstyle when they first debuted Devil may Cry coming out in 2013

I'm working on a Web Comic with my coworkers about the QA department at a video game company. I've heard some wild stories and seen some of my own while I've been working in the department so stay tuned!!!
