for those of you interested, Tom Waits was fucking amazing. it was like some sort of religious experiance. he did two encores and just as he left the stage for the first time i got all pissy like i felt that he shorted us, but when i looked at my phone i realized that he'd been playing for two hours!! it didn't feel like two hours, i could've sat there for another two, holding my piss. i tried to take pictures, but since cameras weren't allowed in and the last thing i wanted was to be asked to leave, i was trying to be sly and they didn't come out at all. i'll post them once i charge my camera, if any one would like to try and make out Tom. i've got some great burning elmo pinata pictures from fourth of july as well. as for Tom Waits i don't know that i'll ever get to see him again, but i would pay handsomely and travel far and wide to get the opportunity again.
