Hey man, good to hear from you. I hope you're doing well.

I've been on and off SG for seconds at a time lately so I'm sorry I haven't kept up with everyone, it's just that in the summer I tend to be away from my computer a lot more and try to get out as often as posible. I love the heat and sun. I've been lucky enough to get out to the ballpark quite often and I just discovered a cool nieghborhood sports bar to watch the Cubbies when they're on the road. I'm telling ya, summer starts on opening day and ends when respective team closes their last inning. Aside from baseball my wife and I have been trying to get out to the beach as well as some of the street fairs and free concerts. It's cool Chicago has a lot of free or cheap outdoor stuff to do since money is tight these days.

Say, I'm curious... how did you become a Sox fan? Only ask cause you live in NY and considering the long history and tradition surrounding the Yankees, I'm surpised you didn't end up rooting for the Bronx Bombers. As a kid in Chicago my fav AL team was the Yankees.

BTW, you wouldn't happen to know what happen to LostLucy, one day she's here the next she's gone?

Trials and tribulations come and go. I finally talked to my mother, and suprisingly she was very helpful to me. I am pleased to know that she does actually care, even though she might be gloating inside. It doesn't matter. I have my mother and my friends (you especially) and I am grateful for all that you've done.

As far as uploading your photos. I'm not sure if I could help you. Seems that I would tell you the same things as other folks on SG. I wish I could be more help, but I'm sure you'll get it sooner or later. Considering you got your inserts to work.

Sorry i wasn't much help with the pic thing. Its just hard to tell without being able to show you.

I can suggest that you look around and maybe you can find a home PC or internet class. Check your local community college. They may have a short non-credit class. Sometimes the computer stores will have them.
Your local library may also be a resource for learning computers. Look in the newspaper, especiall the college papers, for computer tutors.

Don't take this the wrong way, but the adult education and anti-illiteracy organizations also teach computer stuff. Don't tell them you want to be able to post pics on SG. They might not help for that.

Computers are like riding a bike, once you get the hang of it, your off!

Do you know how to email pics at all? I you do you can send them to me and I will size them and send them back. But you'll still have to upload. but thats at least half of it.

Beside comput issues, how ya been?

It's still a little weird is all. I filed originally, but the fact that it's finally done just doesn't seem real. It was very anti-climactic because there is no animosity between us anymore.

Poker is going complete shite right now. I'm barely playing, playing way too loose and not paying attention to how others are playing.

Sorry you had to put up with my morbid side twice. No you know a little more about me. I think I posted that video because it reflects a lot about what I think of the world. Ordinary people going about their business all of a sudden made to suffer because of some other idiot.

If only I could say the same about the damn Cubs; they're not helping things here, man. I bought tickets to two of the White Sox-Orioles games coming up in August; I'll actually be rooting for the Sox (at least until they win) so my girlfriend can finally see them win. She's been to three Sox games in her life -- all with me, and all losing efforts against the Cubs. Ironically enough, those are the only games I've seen the Cubs win in person.

It's amazing how quickly the boobs became a secondary concern for me. The community is the main reason I have stayed with SG for as long as I have.

How are things going for you? How's the lady-friend?

Are you going on Friday?

I have been surprised to hear how many people have sleep apnea since I've been bloggin' about it! I can totally live with the news that I received, because I've been sleeping with an oxygen concentrator for the last three months or so, and I just hate having to use it....I don't know how the in-home study could have been so off, but evidently it was!

I just may have to adjust my numbers on the sex then We just may not get any sleep for a week, but I'll have plenty of time to catch up once he leaves again!

Do you know what happened to lost lucy? I see a few people have asked you, thought I'd do the same. I didn't have her on my friends list, but enjoyed her contributions to the site and am sorry to see her gone.

I hope you are doing a little better by now. Don't worry about contacting me every single day. I can handle it if you miss a day. Long as you keep in good contact overll. We all have lives and sometimes we got things we gotta do. Or we got a mood going on.

I know you think about me and you care. Sound like you have a need to focus your attention. Do it.

I don't always keep in the best contact with others myself. I only have so much time and so many people to touch base with. Not to mention I have my favorite groups that I like to keep up with.

Thanks for the compliment, I truly appreciate it. I'm sometimes worried that I might come off as a bit of a 'weak willed liberal' in the group (which is a pretty good laugh, as most of my friends in RL have told me. If anything, I'm usually accused of being too headstrong and stubborn ) Its good to see that someone appreciates what I have to say from time to time.
