I seriously need to stop reading before bed. It always starts with me saying I'm just going to finish this chapter then go to sleep and ends with me still up at almost eight in the morning cause I couldn't put the damn book down. I ran out of Dresden books so I moved on to others. Finished Some Danger Involved, the first in a series about a private inquiry agent and his new assistant in Victorian era London. It was pretty good, gonna have to pick up the rest in that series eventually. And tonight I finished The Bee Keeper's Apprentice, the first in a series that pairs a retired Sherlock Holmes with a young woman who is his intellectual equal. It was really good, and it adds another batch of books I need to buy.
Just did a quick count of the stacks forming in my room, there are roughly 130 books (not including a decent collection of manga) slowly beginning to dominate the room's decor. I need more space and more bookshelves. I swear, if it keeps up like this they're going to find my corpse under an avalanche of books one day...

I'm a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes books, so the Bee Keeper's Apprentice sounds interesting.
We were running out of space with all the books I was getting through, then I got a kindle, problem solved...
Thanks for the comment too, I can relate to that as well. I went through a phase of getting upset whenever a movie had a father-son storyline, as this was before I'd managed to get back in contact with my dad.
