Hi Blog…
Just two pieces of artwork for today, one finished (for Saint) and one “in progress” (for Annathesia). I haven’t had much chance to draw portraits lately. Even though I’ve had some time off for winter break, I found out I may have PROSTATE problems…anything from a minor infection to the early stages of cancer. So, I have been struggling with the emotions of all that…and I won’t know for sure how serious it all is until later in March - due to all the tests, etc. It has taught (or rather re-taught) me that life is too short and valuable to waste. I’ve had to re-think how I use my time…actually I am still in the process of that. I’ve got several pieces in the works for people here and I hope to work on those through March…they will help me focus and keep my mind busy. So, my dear sweet people enjoy life and take NOTHING FOR GRANTED!!! I love you all. And one word of advice…and I only say it because I see too much of this kind of thing lately… don’t get so hung up on acquiring STUFF… concentrate more on making sure the people in your life know you love and care for them. That’s just experience speaking and I’m sorry if I was preaching. xoxoxoxo
