Hi Blog…
I had a great time in Maine, came back well rested and full of seafood! I wanted to wish all you lovely people a wonderful Easter weekend. I don’t know if I’ll have a chance to post anything tomorrow with a family dinner to endure (with my family – inlaws actually – I would rather have four root canals done in the same day!) …I don’t celebrate Easter as such, Ostara is my Sabbat, but to make life easier and less of a hassle…YIKES, I didn’t mean to go off on this tangent.
Anyway, since I was gone for three days I really need to get DRAWING!!! I will get to everyone’s portraits, I promise. I just have a few little bits and pieces to do for course work and school…other than preparing for two art shows!!! It never ends LOL I really appreciate everyone’s comments and support. As I’ve said before and will again as much as possible…all of you are the absolute best, sweetest, most wonderful people on earth…I love you all!
I have two short video clips from Maine. I think the first one has the Bush house in the background. I won’t even get into a political discussion…enough to say I am NOT and NEVER WILL BE a Republican! The second clip is of Nubble Lighthouse near York Beach…my favorite spot in Maine. I think I have a million pictures of the place and I’ve done several paintings of it, too…I will post one at some point. Have a look Can you tell it was windy???? LOL

Okay…I need to get drawing…have a great Easter weekend and new week. I love you all very much.
I hope you have a great Easter even though you have to endure the inlaws! *giggles* This will be my first Easter away from my family, so I have mixed feelings about it. I am going to miss seeing my niece hunt eggs and open her Easter basket, but I will get to do those things with my boyfriend's little boy so not all is lost. His father and I are procrastinators so we must run out tonight and buy his basket. We are planning to buy a premade basket and then the rest of us are going to add more candy. Brandon's grandmother and I agree those store baskets never come with enough candy. Hopefully, you will survive the inlaws and I will survive Brandon with a sugar rush! *hugs* Oh and the videos of Maine are beautiful. The furthest north I have been is Pennsylvania, but my friends parents used to live in Maine. She visited there once and said it was very beautiful and all the local people were overly kind and welcoming. The only thing she did not like was the weather. She said it was freezing. I have to agree with her. I do not like the cold either! Brrr!
Wow, you got way further than I have. I got to my eleventh great grandfather on my dads side, Jacob Kissinger born in 1580. I have hit a wall, so I'm going to upload all the documents my mother brought me, and then Im hanging my hat up for awhile.
